Something truly beautiful for your animals and you... My friend and extraordinary human, Dr. Jeff Feinman, shared these most beautiful "12 Lessons from 2024" with me and all the members of Holistic Actions!* These touched my heart and are so wonderful, I asked Dr. Jeff If I could share them with you. He said yes.
Here they are with a few added notes/tips from me. Aim to practice our recommended "Actions," daily. If you do, you'll deepen your abilities to connect and receive more information from your beloveds as well as enrich your relationship(s) dramatically.
🌟 Lesson 1. "The unseen aspects of love, trust, and connection create the foundation for true healing, for both you and your beloved companion."
Action: Spend 5 minutes each evening sitting quietly with your pet before ending your day.
🌟 Lesson 2. "Our pets are not just our friends; they are our teachers. Trust their wisdom, and they will guide you to new levels of love and awareness."
Action: Set aside 3 minutes daily for eye contact and gentle observation of your pet's body language. Note from me: This is the first step to opening your intuition to receive telepathic communication from your animal.
🌟 Lesson 3: "The choices we make today—what we feed, how we connect, and how we care—shape the future for our pets and the planet."
Action: From me: Staying present is the key. Throughout your day, pause and be fully present in the "now." The more you practice this, the easier it gets. You'll also be in greater alignment with your animal and able to perceive more.
🌟 Lesson 4. "When we nurture the invisible forces of energy in our lives, we open the door to visible transformation—for ourselves, our pets, and the world around us."Action: Create a 2-minute morning ritual: gentle pet massage and/or brushing while setting positive intentions for the day. From me: Your companion will feel your positive energy and respond to it physically, mentally, and emotionally.

🌟 Lesson 5. "A harmonious household isn’t just about balance; it’s about understanding and honoring the needs of every family member—furry or human." Action: Dedicate time to observing your pet to really understand their needs, write down what you notice. Me: what you notice and receive.
🌟 Lesson 6. "Every meal is a chance to nourish their bodies and their spirits."Action: Experiment with adding one new simple, fresh food to your pet’s diet. A little variety goes a long way in improving their nutrition. (start with small amounts of pureed carrots or green beans). Me: For cats, perhaps a bite of sardines canned in water, roast chicken, fresh catnip... Also consider organic, free-range, local foods that have more life force energy for your animals and support and help heal Mother Earth.
🌟 Lesson 7. "Movement isn’t just about getting from A to B; it’s about joy, freedom, and living fully."
Action: Add 5 minutes of playtime or gentle exercise to your daily routine (try hide-and-seek for cats or "find it" games for dogs, tag with horses). Play with them! Me: Another opportunity to be fully present.
🌟 Lesson 8. "Breath is the bridge between the body and the mind, a pathway to better health for both you and your pet."
Action: Take three deep breaths while petting your companion each morning and evening.
🌟 Lesson 9: "Healthy ecosystems, both inside and out, create resilient, radiant pets."
Action: Introduce a new probiotic rich food into your pet's diet (try plain yogurt or kefir).
🌟 Lesson 10. "The best care is not just about fixing what's broken—it’s about nurturing the whole being with love, presence, and understanding."
Action: Dance or sing with your pet for 2 minutes today (yes, really!). Me: I hum to my cats. They tell me they like my "purring."
🌟 Lesson 11: "Healing isn’t about fixing; it’s about creating a space for love and connection to thrive."
Action: Start monitoring your pet's BEAM everyday. (Behavior, Energy, Appetite, Mood)
🌟 Lesson 12: "Our pets remind us of the sacred art of being—of finding joy in stillness and love in the simplest moments."
Action: Set a daily alarm for a 2-minute "connection break" with your pet—no phones, no distractions. Me: That's being fully present!
Dr. Jeff and I hope you'll enjoy more "beingness" with your beloved companions. We promise this leads to deeper connection and mutual understanding, less conflicts, injuries and imbalances.
